Perchville 2021

*CANCELLED* The 71st Perchville USA - Tawas

The Tawas Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) has been working hard on a plan to be able to continue with our annual Perchville festival for 2021. Unfortunately, with current gathering restrictions in place and the uncertainty of the stability of public health in our region, the TACC Board of Directors has made the tough decision to CANCEL the 2021 event.

Perchville is a long tradition in the Tawases and brings many people to the area. However, the main concern that the TACC faced while continuing to plan Perchville was as of February 5, 2021 the public health guidance on outdoor gathering reads: “Outdoor public gatherings-Capacity limits vary depending on venue type, but never more than 25 people; masks and social distancing are required.” Without certainty that this restriction would change early enough in the planning process, the Board of Directors felt it was in the best interest of public safety to cancel the event.

We appreciate your understanding, and it is our hope that we can proceed with many of the events we all know and love in future months.
